A (Long overdue) update!

Hello internetland. I figured I'd throw up an update to let everyone know about what's going on in my world. Things have been pretty wild lately, in best way possible! As I'm sure many people reading this already know, I'm getting married next year in April to my amazing woman Leanne. The summer has been really amazing, with some awesome gigs under my belt. Bass Coast Project was an absolute BLAST, and that very weekend was one of the most memorable I've ever had in my life…Friends, family, love & collaboration. I was blessed to have CHADIO host my set that Friday and the crowd just ate it up. Will have pics form the event soon!
I played my first ever drum n bass in front of a wicked crowd for my fam over at Shah DJs which I have to say was ridiculously fun also! Again, had the homie CHADIO warming up the mic just nicely that night.

To top it all off, my dear old pals SELF EVIDENT& DJ CURE and myself have teamed back up to bring back, one of Vancouver's fave Friday night haunts from last year, and turned it into a monthly event! That's right, Goldies Basement Bass sessions (working title lol) is rolling again, and our first reunion show was just as much fun as the old days.
I am currently in the process of changing the site here to a different platform to better suit my needs, so you can expect some changes in the coming days.
Also, I am in the process of starting a new monthly podcast that will feature everything musically that I love, in specific volumes. So be sure to keep a lookout for "HxdB Loves…" I've recently transitioned all of my current recorded mixes on over to FAIRTILIZER so I could free up time on Soundcloud, plus I find it's a great platform, head on over and check them out!
I promise I will update the "LISTEN" & "MIXTAPE" sections of the site straight away. I have also put some new tunes up on SOUNDCLOUD recently, which you should also go and check out, some of my best and most varied tunes are up on there! In addition, I'm sitting on a few more ones that I will put up shortly and sparingly. Keep checking. 🙂
I have been covering for Cure for the past 2 weeks, his weekly podcast, Aufect Radio on Sub.FM. Last week we had none other than the man DJUNYA himself, also, local legend and friend, CHADIO blessing the microphone for the show, annoyingly, after several problems with the podcasting software, it also failed to record the set…damn! Anyways, it was a great time and a legendary on the fly podcast! Tomorrow August 5th, 2010, we'll be having DJ KRUSHA alongside myself from 6-8 PM PST only on Sub.FM.
Well, that's about it for now, I'll be adding more posts that relate to some of the things I mentioned, and more interesting news as it comes. Peace!
